Taking a more dramatic turn, Dan is set to star in Universal Picture’s BRAND NEW DAY, written and directed by Brandon Camp. BRAND NEW DAY is a romantic drama about an acclaimed self-help expert on grieving who is faced with the death of his own wife. Dan is currently filming opposite Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aniston, and stars as “Lane Martin”, the self-proclaimed visionary behind “Burke Preston” (Eckhart). He returned to the New York stage in Dan O’Brien’s THE VOYAGE OF THE CARCASS, directed by Randy Baruh. Dan is currently finishing up his new play LITTLE EXODUS and he has previously appeared in off-Broadway and regional productions, including BOBBY GOULD IN HELL, JOE FEARLESS, CREPUSCULE, BRIDGES AND HARMONIES, WHITE DEVIL, and DILETTANTES & DEBUTANTES. Dan's directorial debut for the play that he also wrote, ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM (inspired by Ionesco's RHINOCEROS), was performed at the 2007 Fringe Festival in NYC. The play was produced by Stage 13, the film and theater production company of which he is a founding member. Along with his friend and fellow Stage 13 member, Law Tarello, Dan is also part of “2nd Rate" a rock-comedy band that has performed at Joe's Pub in New York City.

Personal Quote:

"The materials we perform and produce are meant to be wild and sweaty and out there, man. We dive into the weird and expect you to take the ride with us and scream with us along the way! If you're digging it of course. If not we prefer silence. I want to go to the theatre and laugh and think and get my money's worth from the actors.  Even if its free! Those bastards better be breathing hard at the end there. Losta fuckin energy and passion. That's what we bring you." - Dan Fogler
